4 practical tips that will help you enjoy rafting
The first thing you think about when planning your visit to Xplor Park in the Riviera Maya are probably the zip lines: flying over the Mayan jungle, catching a glimpse of the Caribbean Sea from the heights and feeling the adrenaline in your veins. But there are more activities in Xplor which will take your breath away too: the paddle raft in an underground river under an ancient cave, for example.
Whether you try it alone or with a companion, paddle rafts in Xplor are a big challenge.
We have received feedback that some people find it difficult to paddle, we want you to enjoy to the maximum this activity in Xplor. We prepared a guide with four practical tips for you to become an expert at paddling.
1.- Place the paddle in your hands as if they were swimming paddles: first the bracelet and then the “X”.
2.- If you want to go right, you must paddle with your left hand and vice versa. Sink your hands as deep as you can and move them slowly.
3.- To move forward, you have to pull water back with both hands. Sink your hands as deep as you can and move them slowly.
4.- To reverse, push the water forward with both hands. Sink your hands as deep as you can and move them slowly.
